These terms govern your use of DIVE-SEEK, operated by Tóth Szabolcs (individual operator). Governing law: Not yet supplied by the operator.

The service

DIVE-SEEK is an index of dive destinations, sites, operators, marine life and gear. Catalogue information is research-based and labelled with its verification status; it is not a substitute for local briefings, training or your certification limits. Dive within your training.

Your account

You sign up with an email and password or with Google. Keep your credentials safe. You can ask for your account to be deleted through the privacy request form.

Photographs you upload

• You keep your copyright. Uploads are private drafts until you choose to publish.
• Before publishing you confirm that you took the photograph or are authorised by the rights holder, and that it does not infringe others' rights or show people without their permission where required.
• By publishing you grant the operator a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence, for as long as the photograph stays published, to host, store, display, resize, transcode and distribute it solely to run and present the DIVE-SEEK service. This licence ends when you unpublish or delete it, except for copies we must keep for legal or security reasons.
• You choose a licence for the public. A Creative Commons licence applies only if you explicitly select it.

Comments and conduct

Do not post unlawful, infringing, harassing or misleading content. We may remove content or restrict accounts after review.

Reporting

Report copyright or illegal content through the report form. Reports are reviewed by staff; filing one does not mean content is removed automatically.
